Liz Del Hoyo, MS, RDN – Registered Dietitian Columbia, Maryland office
Liz’s choice for career started out from an admiration for the human body and a desire to help others which led to Nutrition and Dietetics. A native of Puerto Rico, Liz earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Puerto Rico and completed an internship at the VA Healthcare Caribbean System. A few years later, she moved to Atlanta, GA, obtained her M.S. in Nutrition through the University of Bridgeport and continued her career in nutrition at a local hospital. She moved to Maryland in 2016 and spends her free time baking, cooking and spending time with her husband.
Katelyn Manga, RD, LDN – Registered Dietitian, DC and Maryland offices
Jane “Robie” McMillan, MS, RD, LDN – Lead dietitian, Site Director, Washington, DC office
Robie has the dynamic background, diverse education and wealth of experience you want from the director of our flagship program. After her graduation from the University of Oklahoma, she was commissioned and served as an Officer in the Army. At the end of her required service, Robie left the Army to raise two wonderful daughters. She returned to school and earned her second Bachelor’s degree in her dream field of Nutrition, from Northwest Missouri State University. She returned to the Army to participate in the highly selective dietetic internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and was selected to stay on at Walter Reed serving as the Chief of Nutrition Therapy and Wellness Services and, eventually, as Director of Wellness Services. To bolster her clinical nutrition skills, she departed the military and returned to school to earn a Masters in Counseling from Marymount University, after which she spent 10 years as the lead dietitian for the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute before finally joining The Body Image Therapy Center team. Robie is a family-and-friends oriented, fun-loving person. So, it comes as no surprise that during her free time her focus is spending time with family and friends while occupying the back seat of a motorcycle!
